Fahrenheit 451 is about a society that has ceased to place importance on critical literacy. With achievement levels measured solely by standardized testing, the focus shifted to rote memorization and  a present government that some would argue has a tight control of the media, are we in danger of ceasing to become critically literate as a society? Is Fahrenheit 451 relevent for us today? Answer these questions with us!
